Tips On Relieving Constipation

My soon-to-be husband and I have been trying to have a second baby with no help for the past year. Well, last cycle we started using clearblue test sticks to find my lh surge. We detected my lh surge on 12/25/07 and had intercourse on 12/22/07, 12/25/07, and 12/26/07. I am only considered a small amount of days past ovulation. Yet, my period is due on the 4th. I was nauseated and beyond tired one day, my breasts are tender, and I am experiencing *blushing* constipation.
When should I start testing? Any recommendations on what tests to use? When we had our first and only child (who is almost 3), he was a OOPS baby. We took a test because I was WAY late for my period.

if your child were 4 or 5 months old, would you give them prune juice or something of the like to help with constipation?
