Infant? Small babies don’t eat food? For older babies, I guess dairy, and doughy carbs

Question by Kimberly V: My child has severe constipation and is throwing up. Could it be from a blockeage?
My daughter is 3 years old. She is having severe constipation which she does often. She hasn’t gone in 3 days now. When she does go it is rather large and often hurts her to the point where she is crying and shaking going. No just recently she seems to be passing alot of gas. The thing I am really worried about is now she is throwing up. I am wondering if this could be caused by the constipation or is it more likely just caused by a virus or something? I called her pediatrician but he can’t get her in until Friday. Any ideas if this could be causing that or any ideas on what I can give her to maybe make her go?

I am 13 days late. Lmp was 1/24/2010 which would put me at 6 weeks. I have sore boobs, constipation, light cramping and no period. I am usually on a 31-32 day cycle, have been regular for 7 years. I have one child and my fiancee and I have been trying to conceive for 2 months. we are not stressing but I haven’t missed a period since I got pregnant with my daughter. I have taken several test since being a week late. Anyone get a positive after 6 weeks or more? Or could it be something else. FYI am am in my early 30’s so please be adult with the answers. Thank you.

My baby always passes really hard pill-like stools. I know it’s painful for her but I’ve been told by some its normal? At first I thought it could be me.. she is still breastfed and I was taking an iron supplement. However, I’ve stopped and the stools have stayed the same. I’m starting to think it’s baby cereal.. I’ve fed her cereal once or twice daily (sometimes with fruit but not always) I don’t even think at this age I need to keep giving her cereal, but it is given to me with WIC so I use it. I also try to give her plenty of water & juice between meals. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!
I do give my baby other foods just so you know!! I’m not opposed to feeding her solids.. she LOVES her food (although I haven’t tried prunes yet.. even though that’s like a no-brainer) Haha :D Like I said.. I get the cereal for free though so I use it. But I might stop for a little while or give her cereal less frequently. Thanks so much!!

37weeks 5 days never had Braxton Hicks
The last 3 days I have been having almost constant period cramps, towards the end of the day, and somtimes when I am out and about doing things It gets really bad, almost like bad period cramps plus bad constipation, and baby pounding in every direction at once. At my last appointment, and in my child birth classes they said they want you to have contractions every 5 min for an hour before coming in, and that you should try stoping them, by drinking water, taking a bath, and laying down…so thats what I have been doing, and they seem to stop, I don’t know if this is a coincidence, or if they are contractions.
I have been told several times that at my appointments I can refuse to have my cervix checked, but after all this pain, I am curiouse to know if I am dialating or something, and I am thinking about getting my membrains stripped since they told me it makes dialation and labor easier…If you dissagree please let me know.
