ok before anyone says carry her to the doc or whatever, i have. me and my husband has carried her 4 times to the ER and like 5 or 6 times to the doc. and they all keep saying the same thing, we have even switched docs. hopein it would help. my daughter has been constipated for going on a 2 weeks now. i mean sometimes they are normal, and sometimes she screams her head off from it hurting so bad. we did what the docs. had told us to do, giving her plenty of water, chaging her diet to more fruits, veggies, giving her suppositories, etc. well today her stinky is a tad hard, not to bad .. almost normal but it is GREEN, i mean like bright almost lime green, i have never seen anything like it. and it smells bad. we havent giving her any kool aid, or anything with food dye, im so worried. it scares me to death her being only 15mths and going through constipation, because i know it could end up hurting her, or killing her.

What can I give my teenager/young adult children who suffer from constipation that is safe and natural? I don’t care for laxatives and besides they give me severe cramps.

My 5 y/o has been on soy milk for about 3 years. Recently, I started giving her regular milk, cheeses, etc.
Now she’s become constipated. Is this probably the reason?
I read that small children who are lactose intolerant sometimes grow out of it by age 5-6, so I was trying with her to see.
