I read that fiber supplements are not suitable for children and other measures should be attempted first. She is not very big for her age. Probably 25 pounds at most.

Do NOT give undercooked meat to a child. That can be FATAL. If she is terribly constipated, then talk to your doctor. Also, you can try this recipe for all natural homemade fiber bars. They’re a high fiber cookie, really– so it is totally safe. Just don’t give her more than a couple at a time! Give her lots of water. Make sure she is drinking at least 8 glasses of water in the day (in addition to three glasses of milk). Make sure that she is getting enough time to run around.

Fiber supplements are suitable for children (the ones you get in the UK anyway), and even the most stomach-cramping stimulant laxative is preferable to undercooked pork! I can’t imagine where you got that tip from.
If her constipation isn’t at an advanced stage, one of the drinkable fiber supplements may help. But if it’s been 3 or 4 days since she’s done a smelly, put a glycerine suppository in her (works in 20 minutes or less!)

Do not give undercooked pork to a 3 year old or anyone for that matter.
Have the child eat an apple or an orange or some foods that have fiber.
and let nature take its course, you can also give 1/2 glass of prune juice or 2 stewed prunes, I think laxatives may be to harsh for the child so I would try fruit or prune juices.
How about inserting a glycerin suppository to speed things up

I have no idea on where you got your information but it’s totally wrong to give a toddler or anyone else under cooked meat to anyone for that purpose or any other time, if you need to solve a constipation problem feed the child, corn syrup or/and prune juice , vegetables and fruitshttp://www.emedicinehealth.com/constipat…

None, none, none. I’m scared of eating undercooked pork and I’m an adult! Do you want your child to contract Trichinosis? Parasites are so scary and I can’t believe you’ll want your child to get worms… :

dont feed a three yr old under cooked pork! she could get ill. prune juice, pedia-lax, wheat bran cereal, beans… you could do a rectal temperature on her, that seems to help my 1 yr old.

  7. busybake says:

You should never, ever feed under cooked pork to a child or anyone else. Contact your medical provider for guidance.

  8. TX2step says:

NONE … unless you want to make her violently ill. Give her 2 or 3 SUGAR-FREE gummy bears instead. The artificial sweetener acts as a slight laxative

  9. mamaflut says:
